What makes a great story? What makes a great character? What makes a great superhero? People have debated this for years, but for me the first and foremost thing is those who surround the main character.
Even characters that are technically “loners” like the Punisher or Batman, they are ultimately judged or gauged by those they surround themselves with.
Whether it be other heroes, a ‘family’ or just the regular Joe’s and Jane’s of the world, a bad supporting cast can ruin a great character.
But for every good there is a bad and being close to a superhero isn’t all dune buggy rides and sharing a hot chocolate late at night. Our question to you, dear listener/reader, is what supporting cast would you NOT want to be part of.
