Todd & Joe Have Issues – Sandman 49, Fear of Falling, Death Talks About Life
The end of Brief Lives is here, and after reading issue 48, you may not know it yet, but THE end has begun. But we have some more bouncing around for the other short stories. Fear of Falling was in Vertigo Preview #1, when DC officially branded Sandman and many other books under the Vertigo name and was also collected in Fables and Reflections. Death Talks About Life was an AIDS awareness short story, printed in several Vertigo books with the cover date February 1993, like Sandman #46, printed as a separate standalone freebie (not so much 30 years later) and included in all softcover and hardcover collections of Death: The High Cost of Living, which we will be starting next week!
