I will never sway the vote. Nope. All I can do it report the facts. And chose the pictures for these posts. NAY! The order in which the pictures are shown. As we prepare to determine the final four in the indie bracket, we see the number eight seed, Red Sonja: take on the number seven seed, representing the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Michelangelo: Red Sonja wins, 8 to 5 Perhaps you don’t want to contribute to the poll, that’s cool. You do your thing. You can tweet your choice. Just don’t forget the hashtag #LBHQuery so I can track them down easier and we’ll go from there! Just to keep track, here’s the current standings in the Indie Bracket: Next week, it’s the final second round match up in the Marvel bracket as the law takes on the law and I can assure that the law will...

As chosen by my three and a half year old son, representing the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the number seven seed, the party dude, Michelangelo! Transformers Comics Recommendations...

Man, is it a great time to be a fan of Transformers comics. IDW has been going out of its way to make them available to anyone who wants to try them out at terrific prices. The big sale right now comes by way of Comixology’s “Discover The Transformers Sale” going on through 3/17. Some of the offerings include the first trades of “More Than Meets the Eye” and “Robots in Disguise”, both of which were available in the just ended Humble Bundle. But, there are also other great books available in the sale and lucky for you, dear reader, I just happened to have read a majority of them. So allow me to recommend a few of them for you. Last Stand of the Wreckers If you did manage to pick up the “More Than Meets the Eye” series in the recent Humble Bundle, then this book is as close to a must buy as it gets. Written by Nick Roche based on the story plotted by Roche and future MTMTE writer James Roberts, Last Stand tells the story of The Wreckers going to Garrus-9 in order to reclaim the Autobot prison that had been overrun by the Decepticons. The Wreckers are basically Autobot Special Ops lead by Ultra Magnus who are sent in to take the prison back from Overlord, the Decepticon Phase-Sixer who took led the takeover. While it may seem like a straightforward story, there are plenty of twists and turns and it gives you a really good look at just how terrifying Overlord is, as he will be mentioned several times in the future MTMTE series. All Hail Megatron Volume 1 This is the book you want if you’re looking for something that closely resembles the look and feel...
Weekly Question Indie Bracket Round One Match Three 02/26/15...

In the weeks we’ve been doing this, it was bound to happen. It is the first time we have had two non-humans do battle. And it’s only going to get stranger from here on the indie side of things. First, in this corner, representing the IDW smash comics sensation My Little Pony Twilight Sparkle! It was tough to choose which pony to represent the book. If my son had his say, it would have been Apple Jack. But he’s three and hasn’t figured out how to vote. She does battle with perhaps her toughest challenge, from the Image title Chew, the number eleven seed and the Warrior Chicken, Poyo! Twilight Sparkle wins 21-12 Perhaps you don’t want to contribute to the poll, that’s cool. You do your thing. You can tweet your choice. Just don’t forget the hashtag #LBHQuery so I can track them down easier and we’ll go from there! Next week, round three begins as we have the third round of the indie bracket. Very interested to see how that one will...
