MLP is a really good comic. The Man’s favorite pony is Apple Jack. She regularly teams up with the Hulk.
How is Turok?
Batman
Saga
Invincible
Chew
Outcast
C.O.W.L.
Yeah, I actually like the MLP comic. It’s how I’m teaching my daughter (she’s 9) to read comics (I have 2 daughters, one of them could care less about comics, one likes them). It doesn’t hurt that MLP is well written and drawn, and makes it easy to read along with her. I picked up a couple Marvel Barbie comics in a quarter bin, and even she doesn’t like them.
As to Turok, I really like it. I’m an old school Gold Key Turok Son of Stone fan. I own a few of the GK issues, and as I recall, my first comic was a Turok Son of Stone. This is nothing like those old Gold Key books, and nothing like the Valiant relaunch of the 90s, which was okay at first, but eventually lost my interest. When this gets traded, check it out. Pak is telling an entertaining story.
Chew and Saga were great this week. Too many Original Sins spin-offs and tie-ins. I sadly guessed the hook correctly in the Sins Hulk/Iron Man mini, not that it was difficult.
