Weekly Question – Best Holiday Story 12/01/16
DC, the company built around legacy and tradition seems to be more prolific when it comes to holiday themed comics, pretty much running the gamut on all of them. One of my personal favorites is the annual JSA/JLA Thanksgiving issue, which we haven’t had in some time, one of the few lingering effects of the new 52.
Another big one is Batman the Long Halloween, which is actually a 12 issue maxiseries that covers every holiday.
But most people, especially in December, when they think holidays, they think Christmas. And here’s a page from a DC Christmas story that may come up on this week’s After Dark.
But Marvel has both a Gwenpool and Iron Fist & Luke Cage Christmas specials coming out this year, so Marvel is finally getting caught up.
So this week, gentle listener, what is the best holiday comic?

I always pick up Simpson’s Tree House of Horror
Justice League 188 back up strip – Miracle at 22,300 miles. The rare Hanukkah story.
For the in universe holiday, Miracle Monday, first seen in Elliot S! Maggin’s superman novel of the same name.
